The new product family includes WDS 76 MD, WDS 76 AD window systems, WDS 76 doors with 4 leaves for different needs and WDS SL 76 warm sliding system. The profiles are designed to accommodate a 48 mm wide double-glazed unit.
According to Serhii Datsiv, Deputy General Director of Miroplast, the future belongs to profile systems with the possibility of using 48-glazed units. Therefore, systems with an installation depth of 76 mm are becoming the new standard. Today, this is the perfect balance of price and consumer properties.
Windows from the WDS 76 profile can achieve indicators that meet European requirements:
- The WDS 76 MD window achieves thermal conductivity Uw = 0.85 W/m2K when using a double-glazed unit with Ug = 0.5 W/m2K.
The thermal conductivity of the profile is Uf = 1.2 W/m2K. - The WDS 76 AD window has Uw = 0.86 W/m2K if a double-glazed unit with Ug = 0.5 W/m2K is used.
The thermal conductivity of the profile is Uf = 1.3 W/m2K.
Uf of the door profile and sliding system reaches 1.3 W/m2K.
The WDS 76 family of profile systems allows the production of almost any structure without the use of other systems. This should help partners to optimise their warehouse, planning department and simplify work with stock.
When launching the new products, Miroplast brought their price as close as possible to the cost of systems with a mounting width of 70 mm. Therefore, the company expects WDS 76 systems to occupy the main niche. According to Mr Serhii's forecasts, next year the WDS 76 family should account for 60% of the product portfolio.
The Ukrainian PVC profile manufacturer has also picked up on another trend and plans to use recycled plastic in its production.
