The special exhibition "climate.safe.building", organised by ift Rosenheim, will showcase a waterproof tilt-and-turn PVC window for basements. The event will take place at FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2024 from 19 to 22 March.
The MEALUXIT AQUA waterproof basement window was developed by MEA Group GmbH, which specialises in products for drainage and basement construction. This is the third generation of windows. This version has been tested by the ift Rosenheim Window Institute following the internal guideline "ift Recommendation FE-07/1 - Flood-resistant windows and doors".
The tilt-and-turn sash is inserted into a special housing, which is attached directly to a concrete or brick wall.
A 5-chamber PVC profile is used to manufacture the sash. You can choose a single-chamber or double-glazed unit with safety laminated glass. RC2 class anti-burglary fittings and P4A triplex are available to enhance burglary protection. P4A consists of two 4 mm thick panes of glass and 4 layers of film.
MEALUXIT AQUA windows have standard dimensions and can be used for walls with a thickness of 12 to 39.5 cm.
