In January 2024, a project to translate the German "Guideline for Planning and Installation of Windows and Doors for New Construction and Renovation" was launched. It was announced in autumn 2023 during the WKC Installer 5.0 online conference.
The publication is scheduled for September 2024. The guideline aims to provide architects, designers, foremen and installers with information on modern methods and technologies for installing windows and doors.
The book will cover the latest technical standards, environmental regulations, and innovative solutions in the window and door industry.
Windo Kyiv Conference (WKC) is working on the project in cooperation with the German institute ift Rosenheim. The book is being translated with the support of leading manufacturers in the field of translucent structures, including Adler, ALUPROF, Axor, EVB, Gealan, Glas Trösch, KÖMMERLING, Meesenburg, REHAU, Reynaers, Schuco, SIEGENIA, VEKA, VSThermo, Vikna-Star, WDS, Winkhaus, WÜRTH.
Information support is provided by the Ukrainian Association of Windows, Doors and Facades, the Window Technologies publication, and the OKNA.ua specialised platform.
According to the project participants, the book "Guideline for Planning and Installation of Windows and Doors for New Construction and Renovation" will become a key resource for professionals and will contribute to the development of professional skills.
