REHAU Window Solutions has developed RAU-INFINIO continuous glass fibre for the manufacture of windows without steel reinforcement. A functional prototype was presented to experts at FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2024.
At the company's booth, RAU-INFINIO was positioned as Future Window Vision.
Continuous glass fibre in a thermoplastic matrix improves the mechanical properties of PVC profiles compared to previous materials. This means that larger windows can be produced without a steel reinforcement. Structures without steel reinforcement have better thermal insulation properties.
The technology is patented by REHAU.
