The Winkhaus hardware brand has presented concealed hardware for narrow profiles. The activPilot Topstar was presented to specialists at FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2024.
A feature of the fully concealed Winkhaus activPilot Topstar hardware is that the sash opens flush with the frame. This means that the minimum distance from the sash to the wall is not a problem. The design with narrow frames will not scratch the slopes. The distance could be at least 4 mm.
It has a high load capacity. The fittings can be used for windows with a maximum sash weight of up to 130 kg.
During the presentation at the Winkhaus booth, it was also noted that a special gearbox is offered for narrow profiles. The combination of the standard bolts and this gearbox allows the handle to be fitted to a narrow profile.
