The manufacturer of aluminum profiles, Reynaers Aluminium, has unveiled the new SlimWall 35 facade system. This slim curtain wall features a visible profile width of 35 mm and can support glass weighing up to 450 kg (maximum double glass thickness of 57 mm).
Developers have ensured the thermal insulation and safety of the system. According to the company, the Uf value is 0.71 W/m²K. The SlimWall 35 curtain wall system has received Passive House Institute certification for passive house standards for buildings up to two stories high.
The technical specifications indicate an RC2 burglary resistance class. Additionally, SlimWall 35 meets Cradle to Cradle environmental certification requirements.
Derk Borsten, head of the curtain wall development group, comments: "Working closely with our partners, we have created a unique facade that meets all the needs of our clients. The reduced profile width of SlimWall 35, diverse design options, and certified Passive House thermal characteristics make this system unique in the range of curtain walls. It is the most comprehensive solution for modern residential or commercial construction projects."
