The series of energy-efficient steel doors by ASSA ABLOY has been upgraded to meet Passive House standards. The Trio-E doors are certified by the Passive House Institute US (PHIUS). According to Ceco Door, the Trio-E doors paired with the Mercury 3 Thermally Broken Frame achieve a U-value of 0.34.
The reinforced Trio-E steel doors offer superior thermal performance among reinforced steel doors thanks to the thermally broken frame and the use of polyurethane foam. A rigid steel core adds extra strength to the structure.
The Trio-E series is offered by the American brands Ceco, Curries, and Fleming, which are part of the ASSA ABLOY Group.
