ASSA ABLOY announced the acquisition of Roger Sp. z o.o. sp.k., a company specializing in the development and production of electronic access control systems and related equipment, according to a press release.
Nico Delvaux, President and CEO of ASSA ABLOY, stated: "We are delighted to welcome Roger to the ASSA ABLOY Group. This acquisition enables us to broaden our product range."
Roger has over 30 years of experience in Poland, providing access solutions for more than 5 million users. The company is renowned for its high-quality electronic access control systems. Neil Vann, Executive Vice President of ASSA ABLOY and Head of the EMEIA Division, emphasized that Roger's reputation and expertise will be a significant addition to ASSA ABLOY’s business.
Roger, established in 1991, employs approximately 100 people. Its headquarters and production facility are located in Godziszewo, Poland.
In 2023, Roger reported sales of 42 million PLN (approximately 10 million USD). ASSA ABLOY anticipates that the acquisition will positively impact profitability from the outset of the collaboration.
