VELUX Ukraine, the representation of the Danish company VELUX, and the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture (KNUCA) have entered into a memorandum on strategic cooperation. According to the company’s press centre, the document was signed on 16 April 2025 in Kyiv.
The cooperation provides for the development of education, science and practical training in the field of sustainable construction. This includes, in particular, the involvement of business professionals in the educational process, the organisation of joint research, and the promotion of construction professions among young people.
The parties plan to hold seminars, conferences, and competitions for students, as well as jointly prepare educational materials.
“For us, such a partnership is an opportunity to make specialist training more practical and relevant,” said Oleksii Dniprov, Rector of KNUCA.
“We believe that investing in education is investing in a strong, competent Ukraine,” said Yurii Tkachenko, General Director of VELUX Ukraine. VELUX has been operating in Ukraine for more than 20 years and offers systems for natural lighting, ventilation and energy-efficient construction.
Previously, KNUCA initiated cooperation with the domestic hardware brand AXOR to support reintegration, retraining and rehabilitation of veterans.
