Schüco has improved its traditional passive ventilation devices for Schüco PVC windows. The new VentoAir+ ensures a constant supply of fresh air and removal of moisture, helping to prevent mould formation in living spaces. The unit is discreetly integrated into the window structure and operates without creating draughts.
The compact design of Schüco VentoAir+ allows several modules to be installed at the top of the window to increase the air supply. Thanks to flexible hinge technology, the device detects even the slightest air movements and automatically regulates the flow through its valves.
The colour of VentoAir+ can be matched to black or silver-grey seals, making the module almost invisible even when the window is open and completely hidden when closed. The device has been tested by the German institute ift Rosenheim, complies with DIN 1946-6 requirements and can be used in all Schüco window systems.
Module dimensions are 201 × 15.6 × 8 mm. It operates at temperatures down to –20 °C and provides sound insulation of up to 44 dB (A) when open. The module can be mounted horizontally in the window rebate and easily retrofitted to existing windows.
And Reynaers Aluminium offers motorised aluminium windows to improve indoor air quality.
