Aluprof has announced another update to the MB-82HS lift-and-slide doors. The company has expanded the system with new opening schemes and components that make the structures more convenient to manufacture and use.
In 2024, the MB-82HS aluminium lift-and-slide door system was introduced as the successor to MB-77HS. The model combined the ability to produce large-scale constructions with comfort and energy efficiency. In the 2024 version, Aluprof increased watertightness from approximately 750 Pa to 1800 Pa. These parameters make the system suitable for projects with high requirements for airtightness and durability.
The new update introduces opening schemes C, G2 and G3. Carriages with higher load capacity have also been added: up to 270 kg for the low sash element and up to 420 kg with tandem sashes.
Aluprof also highlights the visually restrained yet robust reinforcement of the narrow 50 mm mullion. Thanks to compatibility with façade trims, it can serve a decorative function or act as a handrail.
Improvements have also been made to the threshold area. Plastic parts can now be replaced with aluminium in all schemes. In G2, they are additionally covered with an aluminium decorative cap. As a result, the threshold forms a unified visual line with the structure and maintains the overall style of the system.
