The Ukrainian manufacturer of PVC windows and doors Vikonda has announced the launch of seamless welding as a standard option. The company has expanded its production and added a modern profile-joining format that allows for a neat appearance of PVC-profiled windows and doors.
The technology provides a visually clean corner joint similar to wooden and aluminium systems. The company expects that the modern exterior of the products will strengthen customer interest.
The introduction of a seamless corner had previously been reported by TM ViknoPlyus, Vikna Perfect, Glasso and LUVIN.
During the WKC VI: Frontale Edition 2024 conference, Serhii Datsiv, Deputy General Director of Miroplast, stated that manufacturers using the WDS 76 profile system would also gain the ability to apply seamless welding. Equipment from Graf Synergy, the first company to develop a machine for this type of joint, is expected to become available to Miroplast partners. The exact list of manufacturers and delivery timelines for the equipment has not yet been disclosed.
