The German manufacturer of joint sealing materials illbruck has announced the expansion of its product range and the market launch of the TP670 ML-Tech Pro tape, which is suitable for sealing installation joints in new buildings as well as during refurbishment projects.
According to illbruck, TP670 ML-Tech Pro was developed for situations with varying joint depth and width, in particular when the window is partially positioned within the insulation layer. The tape can be used as a multifunctional solution or as a separate material for internal and external sealing.
The product is based on multilayer technology that combines open-cell polyurethane foam with a silicone layer. This structure creates a continuous airtight barrier and enhances protection against moisture and wind load.
TP670 ML-Tech Pro provides high airtightness and resistance to driving rain pressure up to 750 Pa. With just three standard sizes, the tape covers joint widths from 3 to 25 mm, simplifying material selection on site.
The material is easy to install even under challenging conditions and is suitable for post-installation application thanks to its conical shape.
