Kömmerling has announced the start of the Tomorrow Award 2026 and is looking for sustainable projects from customers worldwide, profine Group reports. The company calls on window and door manufacturers to present projects that genuinely reduce environmental impact and increase benefits for society.
The competition features two categories. The first covers products and processes with a focus on materials, production, energy efficiency and the supply chain. The second recognises social responsibility, including environmental and social projects, regional initiatives and training programmes.
All profine Group customers who sell Kömmerling window systems are eligible to apply. Each company may submit several projects across the two categories. Completed projects from the past two years, as well as ongoing or permanent initiatives, are eligible for the competition.
The total prize fund amounts to €66,000. Category winners will each receive €10,000, while finalists will receive €1,000 each. All funds will be donated by profine Group to sustainable or social initiatives.
After the deadline of 15 February 2026, the jury will six finalists. They will present their projects live at FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2026, where the winners will be announced.
Kömmerling explains its motivation simply: “Sustainable development is a promise to the future.” The company aims to make responsible action visible and to create a shared platform for communication within the industry.
Applications are accepted via an online form in German or English ↗️. Participants may add photos, documents or videos for illustration.
At FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2026, the premiere of the Innovation Award will also be celebrated.
