The Induline I-130 impregnation has received the FENSTERBAU FRONTALE Innovation Award 2026. As stated by Remmers Gruppe SE: “We are pleased that the jury has recognised with this award the combination of technical performance, environmental sustainability and suitability for industrial application.”
Induline I-130 is a water-based hydrophobic wood impregnation that contains no biocidal active substances. The developers emphasise that timber structures treated with this impregnation, including windows, can be recycled without restrictions at the end of their service life.
The material was developed on the basis of mass-balanced binder components. It protects timber against moisture, reduces the risk of blue stain on the surface, and is suitable for standard industrial application methods — brushing, flow coating or dipping. At the same time, the product has a low odour and ensures a stable processing workflow.
This year, the FENSTERBAU FRONTALE Innovation Award was presented for the first time.
