Schüco Polymer Technologies announced on its social media channels the expansion of the LivIng profile system family. At FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2026, it introduced the new Schüco LivIng Accent frame.
The company developed Schüco LivIng Accent as a profile system with a distinctive frame contour that replicates the appearance of classic timber windows in PVC. Thanks to the special profile geometry, even corner joints resemble those of traditional timber constructions. The system is primarily aimed at the Dutch market, but it can also be used in other projects.
The profile system enables the production of various types of constructions: fixed lights, tilt-and-turn windows, vertical sliding sash-look windows, balcony doors and entrance doors. For door applications, a new hybrid-material threshold has been introduced. The profile surfaces can be finished with more than 300 foil options, including wood-effect finishes from the Schüco UnlimitedFinish range, providing a realistic appearance due to their texture.
The system has an installation depth of 120 mm and two sealing levels. It supports the installation of triple-pane IGUs up to 54 mm thick. These characteristics make the system suitable for both refurbishment projects and new-build construction.
At FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2026, the Ukrainian manufacturer of transparent structures Ekran-Viknosvit also presented a timber window in a classic style.
