SIEGENIA has introduced the concealed axxent 750 ALU door hinge for aluminium entrance doors. The hinge supports sash weights of up to 140 kg.
The hinge is concealed within the construction. This gives the door a clean appearance without unnecessary visible elements. The manufacturer offers two colours: black (RAL 9005) and white aluminium (RAL 9006).
The sash opens smoothly up to an angle of 105°. Thanks to low friction in the hinge support mechanism, only minimal force is required for opening.
The hinge also supports RC2 burglary resistance. No additional components are required to achieve this class.
SIEGENIA developed this hinge with the needs of window and door manufacturers in mind. Self-tapping screws can be used for fastening, allowing the assembly process to be automated. The sash is fixed in the frame according to the “click-in” principle: when closing, the safety catch engages automatically.
Hinge adjustment has also been simplified. The 3D adjustment mechanism is integrated into the sash-side part of the hinge. There is no need to unscrew the load-bearing screws for adjustment. Height can also be adjusted without additional components.
For hardware suppliers, the axxent 750 ALU hinge is suitable for a wide range of aluminium profile systems. This reduces the number of variants that need to be kept in stock.
