The leading platform of the Ukrainian window market, OKNA.ua, has recorded a 2.4-fold increase in audience over the past two months. Even for the active spring season, this is a significant indicator.
Not only is the Ukrainian audience growing. The number of visitors from abroad has also increased — primarily from countries with developed economies, including the United States, Germany and Canada. And this is no coincidence.
This dynamic is explained by the adaptation of Ukrainian businesses to new operating conditions. Window manufacturers, suppliers and installation companies are searching for new markets and partners. Information demand from this side is steadily increasing.
The international audience is a separate signal. Ukrainian companies are becoming more visible in international markets. Their foreign partners and potential customers are beginning to take an interest in the industry context.
It is worth noting that the platform’s audience geography has expanded before as well. In March 2024, users from 108 countries visited the OKNA.ua window platform.
Buyer behaviour is also changing. Both B2C and B2B customers are providing one of the clearest signals: they are increasingly turning to the platform to analyse offers before making purchasing or supply decisions.
This indicates a shift in behaviour — from the reflexive approach of “solving the issue as quickly as possible” to a more considered choice with comparisons of terms, manufacturers and prices. Of course, the “urgent, today” scenario has not disappeared — and for a certain share of customers it remains the only possible option. But alongside it, another model is emerging: a client who arrives prepared.
This means that the quality of a company’s presence on the platform now matters more than before.
