A grant competition to support the energy modernisation of enterprises has been launched. A company can receive €10,000 for implementing energy efficiency measures.
Until 1 September 2023, Ukrainian companies can fill out an application and receive funds to improve energy efficiency (ua)↗️. The funds can be used to finance the measures identified in the contract based on the results of an energy audit. 25 selected companies will undergo a rapid energy audit, and 15 will receive mini-grants.
The top priorities for energy-intensive industries are the implementation of energy management systems, energy audits, modernisation of production processes, etc.
Priority will be given to enterprises that have temporarily relocated.
The International Foundation of Development has organised the competition. It is being implemented as part of the project "Promoting Energy Efficiency and Implementation of the EU Energy Efficiency Directive in Ukraine".
