"Profine Ukraine" is launching a new product - a door threshold system for barrier-free access. PremiPlan Plus is a new product for the Ukrainian market. It was developed in 2018 in collaboration between profine Group, flat roof system specialist alwitra, and ACO, which takes a comprehensive approach to rainwater and wastewater management.
Now, PremiPlan Plus is being actively introduced to the Ukrainian market. This was announced by the commercial director of Profine Ukraine at the online conference WKC VI: Frontale Edition.
The PremiPlan Plus system consists of a zero threshold, a Purenit extender, stainless steel corner brackets, a plastic-coated connecting plate, Alwitra EVALON® sealing film for waterproofing, and a special ACO "Profiline free" channel.
PremiPlan Plus can be used in window and door constructions. It is integrated into the 76 AD/MD and 88 AD/MD systems. It has received a certificate from ift Rosenheim, indicating that the system has an air permeability class of 9A. Sound insulation reaches up to 44 dB.
The company also considered the increasingly frequent extreme weather conditions and tested PremiPlan Plus for tightness under conditions of intense precipitation, simulating the so-called "century rain." A heavy downpour with a rainfall rate of 795 l/(s×ha) or 4.77 mm/min was modelled from a height of 26 meters (approximately a high-rise building), and water did not penetrate the system.
For comparison, a severe storm has about 400-600 l/(s×ha) or 2.4-3.6 mm/min. In Ukraine, the intensity of torrential rainfall reaches 0.6-1.6 mm/min.
