Schüco offers a locking mechanism without a cylinder for entrance doors

Schüco has introduced the SafeGuard access control system, which combines keyless access, automatic locking, reporting, and an audible alarm that is triggered in case of a break-in attempt (early warning). The mechanism is integrated into the Schüco AD UP 75/90 door profile and is invisible to outsiders.

The SafeGuard locking mechanism replaces the traditional cylinder lock. The mushroom-shaped lock mechanism secures the door in the direction of movement and ensures high contact pressure. Without the cylinder, the locking points are concealed.
According to the company, doors with a sash height of up to 2300 mm achieve RC2 class with two locking points. Each of them is continuously monitored by 7 sensors, which detect any break-in attempts and record them in the event log in the phone app.

The electronic components are integrated into the frame, eliminating the need for cables in the door leaf. Without initial setup, the system is ready to operate in Plug&Play mode from the moment of launch.

SafeGuard also provides for emergencies, such as temporary power outages. The built-in battery backup ensures the system operates for an additional 12 hours.
