The window and door manufacturer "Vikonenko" (TM Vikna PERFECT) has passed the certification of the German ift Rosenheim Window Institute. The company received the "Windows and External Doors QM320 Standard" certificate based on EN 14351-1, which specifies the performance characteristics of construction materials.
Since 2006, CE marking for windows and external doors in accordance with EN 14351-1 has been mandatory in Europe. However, the CE marking only requires the manufacturer to declare certain properties. The manufacturer is responsible for ensuring that the characteristics of the "sample" are replicated in serially produced windows.
The ift Rosenheim certification is attractive because it’s not just a "paper test"; specialists from the institute regularly visit production sites to inspect products and the manufacturing process.
"Vikna PERFECT" received certification for structures made from Veka Softline 70, Softline 82 AD, and MD profile systems. Auditors from the institute checked key parameters affecting product safety and quality, from raw material intake control to verifying each stage of production.
In addition to "Vikna PERFECT", companies like Glassberger, Glasso, and "Vikna Vikonda" have already obtained similar certifications.
