profine Group, a manufacturer of PVC profiles for windows and doors, has entered into a strategic partnership with ALUMAT-Frey GmbH, a developer of barrier-free threshold systems with magnetic seals. The agreement was signed on 8 February 2025.
profine already offers its own barrier-free threshold system, PremiPlan Plus. However, thanks to this partnership, profine customers will now be able to order the company’s window and door systems along with Alumat door thresholds from a single source.
ALUMAT technology is certified by the Passive House Institute of Germany and ensures airtightness, sound insulation, and protection against heavy rain.
The German company ALUMAT-Frey GmbH supplies its products to several countries and has a representative office in Poland.
Both companies plan to continue developing their barrier-free products.
Previously, another profile system manufacturer, GEALAN, reached a partnership agreement with Meesenburg Group. Under the deal, GEALAN partners can order components and accessories used for window and door installation.
