Schüco develops a system for upgrading outdated windows without dismantling the frame

BAU 2025
The specialist brand Schüco has developed an aluminium window system that allows a new window frame to be mounted onto an existing one from the interior. The AWS 75.SI+ Reno is suitable for upgrading old wooden, PVC, or aluminium windows.
It was presented at the international construction exhibition BAU 2025.

After upgrading the old window opening with special profiles, the new Schüco AWS 75.SI+ Reno frame is installed onto the existing one from the inside. This avoids extensive work around the window, as highlighted by Schüco.

Schüco AOC Reno can also be used to upgrade facades. Using transition profiles, the additional Schüco AOC structure is mounted onto the old supporting structure (either a Schüco system or one from another manufacturer). This eliminates the need to dismantle the old facade, allowing work to be carried out while the building remains in use.
