Horn Glass Industries AG has confirmed work on three large-scale turnkey plants. This was stated in the company’s report for the first half of 2025. Horn acts as an EPCM partner and takes full responsibility for the execution of projects – from engineering design and equipment manufacturing to installation and commissioning.
An important step for Ukraine was the signing of an agreement between the Ukrainian side and Horn Glass, Bottero and Zippe during the international Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC) 2025 in Rome. NovaSklo coordinates all stages of the plant’s development. The partners have already started technical work: developing equipment configurations and conducting reviews within their specialisation.
According to Stephan Meindl, CEO of Horn Glass Industries, the company strives to be a partner that takes responsibility for results. In the first half of 2025, Horn had already commissioned 12 glass melting furnaces for clients in Europe, Asia and Australia, with six more projects in preparation.
Horn specialises in technologies for the glass industry, including the construction of furnaces for container glass, solar glass and specialty glass production. The company is capable of implementing up to 20 large-scale projects annually and provides global service support.
For the Ukrainian window market, the launch of the NovaSklo plant will be a significant step, as Ukraine currently has no plant for flat glass production.
