AXOR announced the update to its sliding system during the TeamWIN Windows & Glas Day 2025 business conference, where Sales Director Roman Petrenko presented the modernised version.
Following its presentation in January 2025, AXOR gathered customer feedback and modified its sliding system accordingly.
In its new configuration, the system can now withstand loads of up to 250 kg (previously 200 kg) with an aspect ratio of 2.5 to 1 (previously 2:1). According to Mr Petrenko, this ratio is particularly convenient for balcony doors with sashes up to 2.5 metres high and 1.5 metres wide. The increased weight capacity was achieved through the addition of extra rollers, as the product is “designed like a Lego set” — allowing for gradual improvements.
AXOR Intent Smart GT ensures smooth movement of even heavy sashes without the need for lifting. When the handle is raised, the sash moves 6 mm away from the frame and slides easily. The system provides multi-point locking and a continuous sealing contour that protects against noise, rain, and wind. An optional set of anti-burglary components (mushroom cams and striker plates) enhances security, while ball bearings in the running mechanism improve glide.
