German company elumatec AG announced on 10 September 2026 that Elumatec Austria and its Hungarian representative office had officially been renamed Voilàp Austria. This move marks another step in the Italian Voilàp Group’s efforts to consolidate its regional sales and service operations under a common name as part of its ‘One Company’ strategy.
The name change does not affect the company’s legal structure. The team, technical specialists and sales contacts remain unchanged. Voilàp Austria will continue to represent the group’s entire range of machinery and equipment in the Austrian and Hungarian markets, working alongside a network of local partners.
Customers will gain access to machinery and equipment from seven brands through a single regional organisation: elumatec, Emmegi, Stürtz, Tekna, Someco, Keraglass and Mappi. These brands cover technologies for processing aluminium, PVC, steel and glass.
According to elumatec AG, the new structure is intended to simplify dealings with the supplier and improve the coordination of technical and commercial support. In particular, window and door manufacturers will be able to contact a single representative office for machinery and equipment from different brands within the group.
The ‘One Company’ strategy involves the joint representation of machinery manufacturers' brands in individual markets. The names of the equipment manufacturers themselves will remain unchanged. The group is primarily renaming its regional companies responsible for sales and customer service.
Voilàp Group has already adopted this approach in several countries. In September 2024, the group established Voilàp Smart Systems in Shanghai, bringing together the local elumatec subsidiary and Emmegi’s sales and service team.
From 1 July 2025, Emmegi and elumatec began operating through new competence centres in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. The group also merged the two brands’ regional operations into Voilàp Scandinavia, covering the Scandinavian countries, Finland and Estonia.
Since 1 January 2026, Emmegi and elumatec have operated in France as Voilàp France. The group also has regional organisations named Voilàp Ibérica, Voilàp Mexico, Voilàp Brasil and Voilàp Korea.
At the same time, Voilàp Group is expanding its portfolio of equipment manufacturers. In 2025, Voilàp Glass acquired a 51% stake in Italy’s Mappi International, which specialises in glass tempering furnaces. In September of the same year, the group announced the acquisition of Germany’s Stürtz Group, a manufacturer of automated machinery for processing PVC profiles.
The group’s consolidation history dates back to 14 January 2016, when Italy’s Cifin Holding announced the acquisition of Germany’s elumatec AG and its subsidiaries. In 2018, Cifin changed its name to Voilàp.
Other market players have followed a similar path. Poland’s Grupa Kęty consolidated its businesses under the Aluprof brand.
