The Energy Efficiency Fund has approved the new composition of the Advisory Board. This was reported by the Fund's press centre. The new advisory body consists of 17 members, including representatives of condominiums, an architectural workshop, engineers, a window company, manufacturers of building materials, the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine, etc.
Over the next two years, the Advisory Board members will help develop energy efficiency initiatives in the multi-family housing sector to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and remove obstacles to large-scale energy modernisation.
It involves analysing situations and developing proposals for amendments to the Fund's programmes to achieve strategic objectives.
Yegor Farenyuk, Director of the Energy Efficiency Fund, commented: "We are facing complex but crucial tasks, the main mission of which is to improve the energy efficiency of housing in Ukraine. This means building an energy-independent country. I am confident that experience and expertise, as well as initiative, will help us along the way."
Thus, during the first two months of the VidnovyDIM programme, the Foundation supported 56 condominiums.
The first meeting of the Advisory Board will take place soon. The Fund's Management Board continuously monitor and analyse the quality of its work.
