Veka has unveiled the next generation of its popular sliding door product. The VEKAMOTION 82 Vista lift-and-slide system was presented at the online conference WKC Installer 5.0.
VEKAMOTION 82 Vista is part of a series of sliding systems with an 82mm installation width, allowing for the production of terrace doors up to 6 meters wide and 2.7 meters high. It stands out for its maximum increase in the light opening of the fixed part to 16mm.
As stated by Mykola Bondarenko, the regional representative of VEKA Ukraine, the developers aimed to visually minimize the profile component in sliding doors.
The entire VEKAMOTION 82 series belongs to PVC profiles of class A, with the thickness of the outer walls being 3mm (+- 0.2mm). The use of concealed reinforcement in combination with appropriate hardware and glazing allows for the production of sliding systems with a break-in resistance class of RC2. VEKAMOTION 82 Uw = 0.9 W/(m²K) when using a 44mm insulated glass unit (4i-16Ar-4-16Ar-4i) with Ug = 0.6 W/(m²K).
Following the presentation, VEKAMOTION 82 Vista awaits an official launch and the product's introduction to the market.
