The Ukrainian Association of Windows, Doors and Facades took part in the panel discussion "Cooperation and Synergy: the Role of Specialist Associations in the Reconstruction of Ukraine" during the Construction Forum "Energy Efficient Recovery of Ukraine". This is another step in the resumption of the association's work and the development of the window business environment in Ukraine.
The Association of Ukrainian Manufacturers of Translucent Structures is the first window association in Ukraine, which was registered in 2003. In autumn 2023, the Windo Kyiv team announced its intention to resume the association's work during the WKC Installer 5.0 online conference. After that, the organisation changed its leader. And now it is resuming its activity as the Ukrainian Association of Windows, Doors and Facades.
Using the construction forum, the Association's Executive Director Mykhailo Orlenko stressed the importance of joining forces. Joint efforts will help restore and improve the energy efficiency of the national infrastructure and construction sector.
According to Mr Mykhailo, cooperation between the relevant associations will also help to introduce the latest technologies, improve energy efficiency standards and create a sustainable infrastructure capable of withstanding future challenges.
The Association will work to create effective partnerships between the state, business and civil society organisations to achieve the goals of recovery.
