REHAU Window Solutions has introduced a new sliding system SLINOVA X. Window industry professionals were able to get acquainted with the new product during the international exhibition FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2024.
The SLINOVA X sliding system contains RAU-FIPRO X composite material. This makes it possible to make the central section in the sash connection area narrow 32 mm. For architects trying to maximise the amount of natural light, this is an important feature.
The profile also has high airtightness indicators: water resistance up to class 7B, air permeability - class 3. The heat transfer coefficient of the Uf profile reaches 1.6 W/m²K, and the Uw design up to 1.4 W/m²K.
SLINOVA X has a common line of frame profiles with the SLINOVA system. The design for terrace doors with an installation width of 80 mm can consist of two, three, four or six movable sashes.
Also at FENSTERBAU FRONTALE, the company showed the ARTEVO profile system, which is also expected to be launched in Ukraine this year, and the ARTEVO TERRA system, which uses bio-PVC in the upper layer of the profile.
There was also a presentation of Future Window Vision with RAU-INFINIO, the first functional prototype of the patented continuous fibreglass.

In accordance with EN 12208, windows and doors with water resistance class 7B should not allow water to pass through under a pressure of 300 Pa for 45 minutes.
According to EN 14351, class 3 air permeability - in the closed position, the window allows 9 m3/(m2-h) at a pressure difference of 100 Pa.
