In June 2024, the profile brand Gealan officially opened a multi-level automated warehouse at the plant in Tanna, Germany. The building, valued at 16 million euros, was put into operation earlier.
After the construction was completed in the summer of 2023, internal work on installation, configuration, and optimization was carried out. About a quarter of the storage spaces in the new building are currently equipped with containers. The warehouse has a capacity of 5020 storage locations.
Currently, the system is under the supervision of the logistics team until all software settings and optimizations are completed, and the warehouse is fully stocked.
As noted by board member Ivica Maurović, this is Gealan's largest investment in the company's recent history.
