The Government of Ukraine has made a decision to simplify conditions for foreign companies and organizations operating within Ukraine. From now on, they can engage in the construction of facilities without obtaining a special license.
This applies to the construction of facilities with medium (CC2) and high (CC3) consequence levels. Foreign companies only need to submit a declaration of commencement of business activity, which will allow them to engage in construction without a license. This applies to companies operating through separate subdivisions or permanent establishments in Ukraine.
The declaration must include information about the company, details of the company's registration as a taxpayer, information about representations in Ukraine's tax authorities, address, type of activity, and so on.
The new regulations will be in effect during the period of martial law. These changes have been made to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 314 dated March 13, 2022(ua)↗️.
