NSG Group, the glass manufacturer under the Pilkington brand, has developed monolithic fire-resistant safety glass for frameless systems, named Pilkington Pyrostop Line. This product was a key feature at the company’s booth during Glasstec 2024.

The Pilkington Pyrostop Line 60-603 interior partition, with a thickness of 27 mm, is made from ultra-clear Pilkington Optiwhite. This glass provides a light transmission level of up to 86%.
Pilkington Pyrostop Line 60-603 has a fire-resistance class of EI 60, meaning it can act as a passive protective shield against thermal radiation for up to 60 minutes.
The company notes that the line has an almost imperceptible joint (≤5 mm).

Pilkington Pyrostop Line is designed for glazing interior partitions without additional vertical frames. This product is intended for zoning open spaces to separate areas at risk of fire.
