The renowned brand Schüco has decided to showcase its developments for fire and smoke protection at the BAU 2025 exhibition, the world's leading trade fair for architecture, materials, and systems, which will take place in Munich in January.
Fire protection will be represented by Schüco Deflame fire-resistant panels to fire doors made of aluminum and steel. Schüco Deflame is a fire-resistant, fully integrated system solution for Schüco FWS 50/60 curtain wall facades. If fire protection measures in a building fail, a fire can quickly become a threat, especially in skyscrapers. The panel delays the spread of fire from one facade opening to another or from one building compartment to another for 60 or 90 minutes.
At BAU 2025, Reynaers Aluminium will also present windows and doors with enhanced fire safety.
