Roto presents new parallel sliding hardware for ultra-slim profile systems

The Roto press office has announced the launch of the new “Roto Patio Inline | SR” hardware, designed for parallel sliding aluminium constructions with ultra-slim profiles. This development enables window manufacturers to produce large sliding units up to 3000 mm in height and 2000 mm in width.

The “Patio Inline | SR” hardware supports sash weights of up to 200 kg and ensures a high basic level of security. With its anti-lift hook featuring anti-leverage protection and high-strength steel components, it prevents unauthorised opening. The manufacturer emphasises that the integrated rod support relieves stress on the structure during installation.

The system allows for individual configuration: options include single-point, two-point, four-point and even five-point locking. For sash heights of 1200 mm and above, centring elements can be added. This allows the construction to be tailored to customers' specific security and format requirements.

The hardware includes various adjustment options, including for compensating structural deformation caused by temperature fluctuations. Height adjustment of the roller unit ensures smooth movement of heavy sashes and simplifies maintenance — the rollers can be removed effortlessly.

All “Patio Inline | SR” components meet corrosion protection class 5 according to DIN EN 13126. The system has passed over 20,000 test cycles in durability class H3, making it suitable for regions with unstable climates and high humidity.

It is worth noting that Schüco recently introduced a new brand of sliding systems featuring slim profiles.
