Aluron has announced the premiere of its new slim-profile sliding system ILUSIA at FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2026. According to the company, the system features a fully perimeter slit design and a central mullion just 20 mm wide.
ILUSIA is the company’s first slim-frame sliding system. The design incorporates concealed perimeter elements and is aimed at modern architecture and premium residential projects. At present, the system is primarily offered for warmer markets, as it uses a 36 mm insulating glass unit (IGU). In the second half of 2026, the manufacturer plans to introduce a version for a thicker IGU.
The company also highlights a technical detail: the element that engages with the frame is made of polymer. This helps to avoid direct metal-to-metal contact and reduces the risk of thermal bridging.
Another new product at FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2026 was presented by GEALAN — the multi-sash system GEALAN SMOOVE.
