Meesenburg Gruppe and its STROXX brand have become the latest member of the AMPShare Alliance. The companies announced the news on their official social media channels. The alliance brings together manufacturers of professional cordless power tools that use the shared Bosch Professional 18V System platform.
STROXX is a joint brand owned by four companies: Meesenburg (Germany), Lecot (Belgium), Foussier (France) and Carl Ras (Denmark). These companies specialise in fasteners, tools and construction hardware. STROXX manufactures tools and accessories for construction sites and workshops.
In its announcement, Bosch Power Tools welcomed STROXX as the alliance's newest member. The company stated: "Our AMPShare alliance has just become even stronger. We are delighted to welcome STROXX as the newest member of the AMPShare Alliance. With the addition of this new partner, our cross-brand 18V battery system continues to grow."
Meesenburg Gruppe also commented on the development: "We are very pleased to announce that we are now part of the AMPShare Alliance by Bosch Power Tools. This partnership marks an important milestone for us and sends a clear signal about the further development of our product portfolio." The company added that it plans to launch a new range of machines based on this battery standard in September.
The AMPShare Alliance was established by Bosch Professional in 2022 as an extension of its Bosch Professional 18V System platform. The concept behind the alliance is a single battery and charger that can be used across equipment from dozens of different brands. Bosch develops the batteries, while its partners integrate the standard into their own products.
