A warm threshold for garage doors is the ideal solution for reducing heating costs and improving thermal comfort in the garage. This is a specially designed base that protects the garage entrance area and is installed at the point where the door joins the floor. It also increases the strength and performance of the garage door itself.

It is made of PUR SILL.
PUR SILL is a base made of polyurethane foam, a material based on condensed
polyurethane foam. It resembles wood in appearance, but has almost
twice as good insulating properties as wood. It is characterized by very high
rigidity and strength.
Technical characteristics of PUR SILL:
-Heat conductivity λ 0.085 W/(m∙K)
-Compressive strength 5.5 - 7.5 MPa
-Reaction to fire - does not smolder, melt or drip when burning
-Flammability class (EU) -E
-Resistance to temperatures from -50°C to +100°C.
Features:
- high strength and rigidity,
- high resistance to screwing - can be mechanically fixed,
- can be used in combination with most building materials (lime, cement, gypsum, anhydrous plaster, alcohols, acids and bases),
- resistance to decay, fungi and microbes,
- resistant to chemicals,
- recyclable.
It is supplied in a length of 1.22 mP.
