DF1200 disc router for aluminium-composite panels

The DF1200 disc router is a tool for machining aluminium-composite panels: milling fold grooves and cutting. Its cutter uses replaceable carbide inserts with several working edges.

The set includes an extendable guide rail, copying rollers and a protective chip guard.

What the video shows

• the DF1200 router is intended for machining aluminium-composite panels;


• the cutter has replaceable carbide inserts — each with 4 working edges that are rotated once an edge goes blunt;


• the outer washer holds the cutter seat and the copying-roller bearing; rollers come in 3 mm and 4 mm for composite;


• a fibreglass guard protects against chips and fastens with three wing nuts;


• the set includes clamps, rail connectors and a 1.40 m guide rail that can be joined for length;


• a cutting disc for panels is also supplied; a vacuum cleaner is recommended for clean work.

After the groove is milled, the panel folds along a straight line with a neat chamfer.
