This trend is associated with an increase in the size of windows to maximise natural light, which has a positive impact on the well-being of residents.
On the other hand, large areas of glazing lead to significant heating of the room. Previously, a room with a south-facing window had an acceptable air temperature, except for a few temperature peaks in July and August. Due to the increase in window size and climate change, the temperature in the same room in the summer months now regularly exceeds 30 °C.
