Aestech was founded in 2011 by several enthusiastic engineers and has become a powerful player in the Ukrainian market since 2015. By developing and implementing innovative engineering solutions using translucent construction technologies based on high-strength double-glazed windows, the company has repeatedly received awards for the best solution for facades and dome glazing.
Aestech's proprietary technology is a packaging technology using spacer frames of increased rigidity with high adhesive properties to glass. Aestech holds five patents based on the technology for manufacturing high-strength insulating glass units.
In 2022, Aestech became part of the TECHIIA holding and gained new opportunities. The company started building its own production facilities in Ukraine.
Due to growth, Aestech is looking for a Design Engineer to join our team and help create aesthetic fencing structures using the company's innovative technologies.
What is required
- higher technical or specialized education
- experience with translucent and enclosing structures
- knowledge of system solutions for SPOK and ventilated facades
- professional level of knowledge of AutoCad, MS Office
- knowledge of SolidWorks, Inventor, Catia V5, Advance Steel, Tecla, ATHENA and Apollon from CAD-PLAN, ReynaPro (Shucal, Logical, AluPRO), SJ Mepla, Revit, Rhino Grasshopper, Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis Professional, SCAD Office, Lira and knowledge of English or other foreign language will be an additional advantage
- ability to work with regulatory documents for construction
- diligence, responsibility, communication skills, openness to learning new things.
Responsibilities for this position
- designing non-standard structures made of glass, pultruded glass, aluminum, and steel (stained glass windows, skylights, domes, etc.)
- preparation of technical proposals and preliminary designs
- development of design and working documentation for the installation of translucent structures, drawings at the stage of CM, KMD
- development of assemblies, wiring diagrams, detail and assembly drawings
- development of spatial, curved shells made of glass, aluminum and metal structures (three-dimensional modeling)
- preparation of specifications for ordering materials and components (in Excel);
- design of standard/special products and structures made of glass and pultruded metal
- calculation of the strength of the SPC
- on-site supervision.
