For Ukrainian manufacturers of construction products, the presence of laboratories for high-quality and professional testing is a crucial factor. This is the focus of a project initiated by the UNIDO foundation. Thanks to this project, two laboratories have received equipment and software for conducting tests and calculations for transparent constructions. This was announced by Radmila Ustych, a representative of the NGO "Forza," during the WKC INSTALLER 5.0 conference.
The equipment used in the project is MessTec, which allows the determination of the following for constructions up to 4 meters wide and 3 meters high:
- Air permeability to EN 1026
- Watertightness to EN 1027
- Resistance to wind load to EN 12211
In addition, licensed software Flixo has been provided for calculating the thermal transmittance coefficient U in accordance with EN 10077-1 and EN 10077-2.
The project involved "BM-Test" from Rivne and "Kryvbasstandartmetrolohiia" from Kryvyi Rih. Employees underwent training in Switzerland. The equipment has already been delivered, and setup work is underway.
According to Ms Radmila, the results can be used to obtain certificates, which will allow manufacturers to enter the EU market.
