At the beginning of June, the "Doors and Gates Day in Rosenheim" will be held. The ift Rosenheim Institute for Window Technology will host the industry meeting on June 5-6, 2024, in Germany.
Additionally, this week, on June 24, Ukrainian specialists will have the opportunity to join an online lecture on "Climate. Security. Window Structures," conducted by Jürgen Benitz, a certified engineer and PR and communications specialist at ift Rosenheim.
The event in Germany will be held under the motto "Doors + Gates: Climate Safe + Smart." 23 lectures will address commitments and opportunities related to sustainable development and climate security.
Professor Jörn P. Lass, Director of ift Rosenheim Institute, will discuss the new EU Construction Products Regulation and whether it takes into account sustainability and climate change resilience. Other speakers will explore sustainability and digitalization as drivers of the doors and gates industry, as well as prospects for 2025, including pathways out of the construction crisis.
Practical topics will also be addressed, including lectures on sound insulation, burglary resistance, vandalism protection, smart home practical applications, installation of fire doors, and tips on protecting against hacker attacks.
