PROFILCO PR16 is an aluminum profile system for glass railings. It is suitable for balconies, terraces, and indoor use in residential, commercial, or public buildings. It can be used with or without a handrail, with either a hidden bottom profile or a profile with a height of 110 mm.
It is designed for tempered glass with thicknesses of 20, 16, and 10 mm.
For 10+10 glass:
- Accommodates 20 mm glass
- Railing height up to 950 mm
- Base height of 110 mm
- Option to place a decorative cover on the top of the glass
For 8+8 glass:
- Accommodates 16 mm glass
- Railing height up to 950 mm
- Base height of 110 mm
- Option to install a handrail with a diameter of 50 mm or an oval-shaped 77x38 decorative cover
- Special base profile for mounting in concrete
For 5+5 glass:
- Accommodates 10 mm glass
- Railing height up to 500 mm
- Base height of 80 mm
- Option to install a handrail with a diameter of 50 mm
The profiles can be painted in over 200 RAL colors or anodized.
There are several mounting options: side mounting to a wall or floor, as well as recessed mounting, which allows the profiles to be hidden, creating a "floating" glass effect.
