Head of the Agency, Hanna Zamazieieva, emphasised: “This is an example of how theory and practice can come together to strengthen the country’s energy independence. Even today, our cooperation with the University is deep, fruitful, and meaningful.”
The updated programme is aimed at students who work or plan to work in local self-government bodies, Administrative Service Centres (TsNAPs), executive authorities, and civil society organisations. The curriculum covers topics such as energy-efficient governance, efficient use of energy resources, and sustainable territorial development — highly relevant for the construction and window sectors, especially in the context of public building upgrades and residential thermal modernisation.
The Memorandum also provides for:
- participation in drafting regulatory legal acts in the field of energy efficiency;
- scientific research on energy saving and alternative fuels;
- joint events and consultations;
- student internships and professional development of employees.
As part of the cooperation, Agency experts are already involved in the educational process: delivering lectures, conducting seminars, and serving as experts.
Recently, VELUX Ukraina also signed a memorandum on strategic cooperation with Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture (KNUCA).
