The company has announced the receipt of its first RecyClass certificate, confirming the incorporation of recycled PVC in the manufacture of profile systems.
The certification complies with the European standard EN 15343:2007 and the ISO 22095:2020 chain of custody model. It covers Deceuninck’s extrusion operations in Belgium, France, and Poland, allowing customers to access verified data regarding the proportion of recycled material in products.
In addition, Deceuninck’s recycling plant has also been certified for its recycling processes.
“These certificates are proof of our commitment to transparency and traceability in the field of PVC recycling and use,” said Celine De Waele, Sustainability Manager at Deceuninck. “They confirm the reliability of our internal procedures and demonstrate compliance with REACH restrictions on the use of lead in PVC.”
Verified data on recycled PVC content will be available through the Deceuninck Project Planner — a digital tool for architects, installers, and window manufacturers.
