The Polish-origin manufacturer of roof windows, FAKRO, is opening a new company in Switzerland. FAKRO Schweiz GmbH was established in collaboration with international partner Ymalko. According to FAKRO, the active development of the Swiss market has been a key factor in the creation of this new enterprise, aimed at strengthening the brand’s position in the region.
FAKRO Schweiz GmbH will replace the company’s previous partner in Switzerland—Neomat AG, with whom they had cooperated since 2009. Piotr Bieniek has been appointed as the president of the newly established company, while Samir Krasniqi will be responsible for partnerships on Ymalko's side.
The FAKRO group consists of 11 manufacturing firms. In 1998, the company began production in Ukraine.
FAKRO’s products are available in over 50 countries worldwide, with export sales accounting for 70% of total turnover.
