PVC profile manufacturer Gealan presented the new Gealan-Kontur system at BAU 2023. The profile optimised for automated processing.
The Gealan-Kontur profile has straight lines and an installation width of 82.5 mm. It was developed for automated window production. All frame and support profiles are optimised for continuous wet glazing.

The market also offers a product for direct static glazing of double-glazed windows - double-sided adhesive tape from Lohmann Tapes.
The Gealan-Kontur frame profile has screw channels that allow the threshold to installe without connectors.
A fixed central sealing strip increases burglary protection. According to the company, the Gealan-Kontur profile can uses to make structures with a burglary resistance class of up to RC3.
The Gealan-Kontur system was first presented to a professional audience at the International Future Forum 2022. And in early 2023, it became available.
