The transition from autoLock AV3 automatic door locks to the new generation autoLock AV4D at Winkhaus Ukraine has been underway for several months. The autoLock AV4D automatic locks for dark-colored entrance doors are now available on the Ukrainian market. This was announced by the company's director, Ivan Bohdan, during the WKC VI: Frontale Edition online conference.
The Winkhaus autoLock AV4D is designed for the automatic locking of entrance doors but can operate as a regular door. To do this, the "Day" mode needs to be activated.
In its standard configuration, the system is equipped with double bolts. The lower bolt is a break-in resistant hook-shaped bolt, while the upper one is a sealing bolt. This allows the door leaf to be securely locked even in doors of dark shades, as dark-colored entrance doors are more sensitive to sunlight and have a higher coefficient of linear expansion.
A magnet hidden in the frame activates the locking bolts only after the door leaf is fully aligned with the frame. This prevents the bolts from hitting the frame and causing damage.
The Winkhaus autoLock AV4D is suitable for PVC, aluminum, or wooden doors. It provides an RC2 class of burglary resistance.
